Filthy human monies
I thought I might as well update on my licensing sitch...Everything finally went through, I am licensed now by the state of Tennessee opticianry board and called my territory director to talk about my up-coming raise. I managed to get just short of $12,000/year more for my piece of new paper. YEA!! He offered me a little lower, which was actually my goal salary, but I thought I might as well go for it, and not just take what they gave me. I made my argument that Walmart pays "this amount" and "Aren't we better than Walmart?" and said that since I'm salary, I wouldn't be making time and a half, so I deserve "THIS amount". AND HE SAID OK.
Cool.
So, nifty. And I'll be seeing that actual amount in about 2 paychecks. Sweet.
