Titana made her wishes obvious the second I opened the lot.
I promptly threw Titania and Oberon a wedding party, but ot just any party - one to which only single adults were invited. I borrowed Nepheris' idea of letting single sims mingle for a bit on their own, hoping they would save me some of the trouble of matchmaking. Summedreams are perfect hosts for it - they have a huge garden and nothing better to do.
I moved the family into the house right next to their original one. Their mansion was one of the main reasons I could never get into playing Veronaville before, the other two being Romeo and Juliette's houses. All three of them are tedious to play; but the Summerdream one takes the cake.
Some people were even pre-makeover.
While other sims talked, fought, and flirted, Mary Gavigan stared at the gardener for an hour or two.
Soon after the party began, the social worker dropped off the newest Summerdream kid - Ginger Newson. I aged down Ginger and Gavin, and put up all six of them for adoption; I don't like game-generated children as much.
I mostly tell my sims to kiss my ass when they roll that want, but Summerdreams have nothing better to do, either way, so why not? You asked for it, Titania. No take-backs.
Buzz: Lyla? Is that you?
Julien: THIS IS TOO INTENSE FOR MY GENTLE NERVES.
Ajay: Well, I have to admit, you guys suck.
I rolled ACR for all premade sims for some diversity, and Kent Capp turned out bi. He has a Romance secondary, and with the chemistry bonus, he turns nearly every head in the uberhood. Bianca's his top-rated crush, though.
Aaaall by myseeeyeeeyeeeelf don't wanna be allll byyyy myyyyseeeelf
Pascal: If you don't mind me saying so, you're an outstanding specimen of your kind.
Bianca: Tested and confirmed!
Mary really doesn't want anything to do with anyone else.
I like her.
(I made her ditch her loser husband; she moved into a small rental house in Strangetown. I don't know yet if I'm going to play her household, though.)
If I didn't already have plans for Ajay, I'd be very interested in this development. Wouldn't they make the cutest cranky hermit couple? And can you imagine how cool their children would look?
Knowledge aspiration? What Knoledge aspiration? Where da ladies at?
Lola Curious even went for a first kiss, but between Antonio queueing up for a brawl and Bianca trying to force-choke Chloe with her eyes, Kent had the soberity to refuse.
Bianca: Yeah, go ahead, Kent. I know the best places to hide a body.
Pascal, I know you're no social butterfly, so let me spell it out for you: getting real creepy here, buddy.
Kent: Miss, I'm really flattered, but you might want to run now.
Bianca: *has her own ominous latin chanting background music*
Chloe: I... see. Gosh, are those lime-seared prawns? MY FAVORITE. Excuse me for a second. *scoot scoot*
The big moment! Aren't you guys excited?
Oberon: Meh.
Titania: *slouch*
Pascal, you rude shit.
Pascal: WOO WHAT A SHOW CHEERIO OLD CHAP. That's some mailbox, I'll say!
Did you liberate some of Lazlo's brownies before the party?
ACR is giving me only boring crap so far. I don't like Kristen enough to have her with Erin >:C Though I must admit, they are pretty cute together, always flirting and being sweet to each other.
Antonio: Damn that stupid sexy Capp ruffling his feathers around my sister! His sexy, toned, rippling feathers.
Ajay: There are several things about this sentence that are too condradictory for me this early in the morning.
Antonio: All I'm saying is I'd gladly kick that firm, round ass all the way to Riverblossom Hills.
Ajay: See, this is why I LOVE interacting with people! My, is that a bottle of bourbon over there? Great, I found my company for the evening.
Antonio: You need an attitude check.
Ajay: You need a better brain-to-mouth speech converter.
Mary: Dammit, I'm not your Lyla!
Lazlo is too cute. <3
Buzz: muuuuUUUUUUURRDEEEEERRR
Cyd: Um, wow, rude? I was talking to him. *plus*
Finally, the crappy party ended. All it brought was trouble and no hook-up worth my attention hapened. :(
Behold my Arts & Crafts hobby leader, the majestic creature.
This scarf is really cute, but it generates on 1/3rd of all townies and NPCs. I might need to get rid of it, it's like Castaway Stories Headdres 2.0.
I didn't really pay much attention to either of the girls; I don't think they ened up as friends, but they got along fine. Ginger in general didn't get much attention - Puck was propably the one to notice her most often.
Especially since Titania might have found herself something to do for the next couple of days.
Titania: Ugh, excuse me, Mr. Smith, it's my son. Yes, an A+ again, so troublesome.
Blossom grew up; she rolled Popularity/Family, prefers men, and her LTW is something stupid, like having 6 grandchildren or something.
Puck: Who's my little sister? You are! You almost are! Hee, I swear, I can hear her giggling already-- wait, I can hear her? ...Mom?
Titania: Oh. You migth want to move back a bit, sweetie, I'm going to start screaming now.
Little Hippolyta joined the family! She has dark blue eyes and red hair.
I sacrificed half of the first floor terrace to build her a room. It's 3 tiles bigger than other kids' rooms, but she's going to be sharing it with a sibling in a couple days, and with Puck leaving for college, there'll be plenty of space for everyone.
Puck: Great parenting, MOM! Did you use to leave me like that, too? Do we even have some clothes for her?
Titania: Puck, how many times do I have to tell you, if you have something to say, just come upstairs instead of yelling!
Puck: I'm calling child services!
Puck wanted to sneak out with Ripp Grunt. Where did you get that car, exactly? Rented it with your gas station attendant paycheck? Don't lie to me, I know you get paid in peanuts. Well, I can't see any way this night could go wrong.
And then everyone died of Not Surprised..
Oberon: I'm disappointed in you, son. I expected better of you than to sneak out in the middle of the night in a stolen limo and get caught!
Unlike most sims, Puck isn't incapable of learning from his mistakes.
All Titania wants is MOAR BABIES; she actually feared changing diapers, so Puck, Oberon and Bottom did most of the care-taking.
Meanwhile, Ginger was being chill. She doesn't really need much from life to be happy.
I turned Oberon into a good warlock...
...mostly because I glanced at the garden and realized that my service sims are swindling me.
Puck and Bottom remembered they have a little sister now, so they took her to the mall in hopes of finding some new friends.
Bottom ran into her old buddy, Benedick. They're good friends, but only share one bolt, and either of them can do better, I suppose.
Oh dear, I think it might be time to go home.
Yeah, Summerdreams out.
Contrary to the gardener, the maid did bother to show up, but he would ALWAYS glitch in the exact same spot. If I moved him, he just walked back there and glitched again. So I had to fire him. :/ Oberon can't learn Appello Servantus fast enough. Maybe I should just put their kids to work?
Just two children capable of yard work don''t really cut it (would be three, if Puck wasn't leaving for college in a moment), so Oberon and Titania decide it's time for another roll in the hay. I'm crossing my fingers for triplets this time; I installed that mod only recently, and I haven't had a triple birth yet! I just hope it will be the Summerdreams, who can afford it, rather than some poor schmucks living on a 2x1 lot.
Puck invited Tybalt, now colege-aged, for his own hay roll, but they ended up playing kicky bag instead, which is kind of endearing, really.
Checking Bottom's relationship panel, I noticed there's someone she has good chemistry with: Hal Capp, her childhood friend, who recently grew into a rather fine young man, if a bit of a wimp.
I think Bottom agrees.
Juliette: Oh my god, he was a kid like two days ago!
Bottom: So? So was I!
Juliette: I'm telling on you both as soon as I figure out who in our families might care!
Bottom: Good luck with that.
Aaaah, amour.
It's good to know that Hal will be able to feed Bottom in case of a zombie apocalypse.
It's a dream date, without much effort form my side.
OBERON NO
STOP RUINING MORTALS' LIVES THIS IS ONLY FUNNY TO YOU
He seems to be interested in living with furry creatures, himself.
Oberon dragged Olve from work. I can actually see how they would be good friends.
Hippolyta is a good blend of her parents' personalities, except she's more active than either of them.
Tybalt and Puck tested the loveseat OMSP (the heart pillows on the bed). Works like a charm.
You know what, Hal? You're okay. I like you.
Ginger grew up and only Puck and Bianca bothered to pay attention.
Isn't she adorable? She rolled Family/Pleasure - fitting secondary for a child raised in a filthy rich sybarite family. I can't remember her LTW - it's one of thsoe boring Family ones, I think.
And the week ends with Puck leaving for college, and me realizing that the gardener propably had a heart attack in the shrubbery maze and will turn into a zombie any night now.
Thank you for reading!
