Ambrosia Legacy: 1.4
Man, it's been a while since I posted an update. I have no idea why, since the backlog keeps me from playing the household.
For this hood, I didn't use a pre-made college - instead, I downloaded the Brixham set from MTS2. I love it! Much prettier than Maxis hoods. I really recommend it, if anyone is looking for a nice custom college.
So excited.
Here's the dorm, and here's Torte's room. Who cares about the rest of the building! This is not what we're here for!
Some ladies downloaded, some ladies made, more than enough to find the special one.
Torte makes sure to stay at the top of his classes; sending him to college used up pretty much all of his mom's savings, and if he doesn't get the scholarship, he might be forced to drop out.
I like this dormie. He's always so cheerful about lacking direction in his life.

The Ambrosias have always been very tight-knit. Torte started rolling wants to see his family after one day in college, so I threw them, and the honorary Ambrosia, Jules, a small party.
Torte doesn't have much luck with girls - I've never seen him hit three bolts with anyone, and two are pretty rare. He seems to have hit it off pretty well with Teresa Cassidy here, though--

I try to have Torte paint mostly other sims, not custom paintings or still nature, and thought a nice portrait of Teresa would give them a chance to get to know each other.
She misread his invitation, though.
"Forget it, pal. We just met."
"But I just wanted to paint your portrait ;-;"
Don't talk to weirdos, Torte! Stop it! You don't have to always be polite! Eh, it's too late.
I warned you.
"Nice, man, she was all over you! What's your secret?"

I downloaded the Castaway Stories stuff for a Twikki hod I never made, but I'm starting to get really annoyed by it.
Why are dormies so dumb.
WHY ARE DORMIES SUCH ASSHOLES. I had to keep dragging Torte form his room to pick the trashcan up, since I don't want him to catch the flu. Next time I see someone try to kick it, I'm smiting them.
Redheads have been a recurring theme in Torte's paintings, lately.
He's been working his ass off - studying and skilling for the scholarship, selling paintings for the tuition. He's barely had a free moment since his first day, and I guess he's finally gotten sick of it.
He also bought the first not-strictly-necessary item since he transitioned.
"Hey man, how is it going? Is this your girlfriend? Nice to meet ya. Hey, you won't believe what happened at class today--"
"YES CHAD THANK YOU SEE YOU LATER."
Despite the entire campus working to ruin the date, it goes perfectly.
"Come on! Sing louder! They're going for Dream Date!"
"I'M TRYING!"
"You don't deserve the uniform!"
Awww yeeeeaah.
Piper: "We've failed. All is lost."
"Maybe it was a bit too quick?..."
Shut up, children and sims have no vote.
I thougth I had some pictures of the Ambrosia household, but I either lost them, or absolutely nothing happened. :( Either way, this is the last update with 1.x in it. Time for the second generation!
