Need Suggestions

I am working on a website for a group of high school cheerleaders. I am going to administer the site and need to find a good place to host it. Does anyone have any recommendations on web hosting? I want to be able to have at least some password protected folders that only the parents and girls will be able to access.

There are just so many places out there and I want to make sure I pay for something I can rely on. Anyone?
