i didn't have to come back
ok ok so i told people at work i might not come back. but i did. had a nice time in houston. for once the weather was very nice. not super humid or hot. poncho had a great time as well. slept the whole time both ways in the car, in my lap. yes i know he is spoiled. we ventured to petco yesterday where he was glad to meet another chihuahua. and we went to a pond w/ ducks, but that seemed to terrify him. he did like the swimming turtles at petco. but it was nice to get away from work for at least a few days. funny to come back to a message on my 'work' phone asking who was to be at work at 7. not like i could have solved that problem while i was gone. and the phone was not on either. oh well. back to work tomorrow. yippee. at least there is no cleaning day on saturday. now i must go wash my car since all the bugs decided to go splat on the windshield. oh right i start classes again on thursday. horray.
