back to bed
so for the first time ever in 5 1/2 years i was so late to work. i woke up when i was supposed to be there. and luckily it's the one day that's not when the front office is open...meaning no doctor. whew. but also meant i couldn't call and let joy know i was going to be late. and this was after i had 3 alarm clocks set. so i think i'm gonna have to resort to using the stereo alarm...although i must find directions on how that works. i wonder what i should have blasting into my ears at 6am tomorrow morning. besides that, there was a dog hit by a car yesterday and he didn't have any tags, no collar, no microchip, nothing telling us where he lived or who he belonged to. and it's a big black labrador retriever. and apparently some police officer escorted the good samaritan to our clinic (why ours i don't know). and i guess there are 'rules' for stuff like this so they can only keep him comfortable. the sad thing is that his pelvis is shattered. and i guess they're gonna see if they can get donations or get someone to take him. so i don't know what's gonna happen. =(
anyways, besides that fun work stuff last night i went out w/ the virus and jessica to go see some bands play. and i was quite entertained considering the singer of macella was a bald guy wearing a long black dress and attempting to dance and headbang...or i think? haha. i was really amused by his waddling too. sadly it makes me want to wear my black dress. but they were ok. needed some work. especially the keyboards. eh. then (in theory) went on and i think they brought their whole high school w/ them. but they had a ton of engery and blew me away. then proven ground went on which reminded me of pantera. but it was still good. nothing original. like...come on get drunk... ah well. i had a great fun night w/ jessica and the virus. heh...why didn't we call hometown pizza? j/k. i had quite a fun drive home b/c i decided to try a new route but i was thinking i was below downtown and really i was north of downtown...well yeah at least i finally know all the big highways and that stuff b/c it was an interesting way i took to get home. then i could have sworn i saw two coyotes cross the george bush turnpike. now mind you i was going about 70mph so i'm like oh crap. i could not have been that tired. so i don't know that was weird. speaking of tired it's time go back to bed. i hope i can wake up in time to work this afternoon.
