(no subject)
I am tired. I want to go out tonight but I just can't and I feel really guilty. I just need a day where I am not studying until midnight or working then studying or working then going to class until 10 pm. I am a big wuss. I know.
Classes are going well and I am still getting some sweet marks so that's good. :D I miss language courses though. :(
I did get a night off this week and I finished Stacking (it is shorter than Halo...). I like that completion is not super hard and actually enjoyable. The game is not by any stretch hard but it is like watching a really fun movie. :) I am really liking this DLC stuff. Perfect for people who don't have a lot of time to invest in a game.
Job front still very undecided. I am not happy waiting to find out but I obviously don't have a choice (I know some of you feel me here). I chatted up the director (my boss's boss's boss) of the program and he said he would send my resumé out to people he knows in Environment and Health. I guess I impressed him which gives me a leg up. :) Either way, I will have a job come May*. I just hope it is government work. :)
*I am honestly not sure if I mentioned this but Phil's dad has bought two Pita Pit franchises: One in North Bay and one in Gatineau in Les Promenades. The "Pit" in Gatineau is the first one in Quebec and is a pilot project. Phil will be a proxy owner starting some time in March and will be doing that while saving some money up for further schooling next year. Phil was offered some pretty decent coin (enough that refusing would be silly) but he had to promise that this is only a temporary gig. I have been assured that if I need a job that I have one (unless something goes very wrong). If I don't get a gov job right away I at least have something to keep the bills paid.
Going to go back to bed again...need more nap. :D
