Life is pretty sweet right now but I am not going to share any of that with you haters.

It is so nice. The detail is INCREDIBLE. Probably my FAVORITE vinyl in my collection. You have no idea how much I wanted this and it was stupid hard to find (limited to 200 made). The box is even signed by Brandt Peters~ (Who is having a showing in MTL in Nov. Hmmm...)! :D :D

Presentation that I totally blew? Got 88%. @_@ Yeah. Apparently the content (which was good) was more important than me mixing up glutamine dehydrogenase, glutamate decarboxylase and all similarly named proteins (it was correct in the protocol and in the ppt deck). I went up to one of the lab techs who was marking us and ask him if he just felt sorry for me. :) I may complain about TA's and prof's but the lab techs (not the profs) who run the Biochem labs KNOW THEIR SHIT. They are serious science angels.
Bad news? The corrected protocols (which we NEED corrected so we don't screw up the independent projects) got stolen. Our TA (who is really not bright at all) left them out in the lobby for pick up during reading week. Two days later, when I went to pick mine up, they were gone. When I first emailed her she told me I should check and see if my partner had picked it up. REALLY? I hadn't thought of that. *rolls eyes* So SHE gets to remark them.
Did better on pharmacology midterm (I get way too stressed some times) than I thought I would and got my best mark on a protein quiz which I thought I would bomb. Helps that I found a logic error and brought it to the prof's attention. I am getting very tired of memorizing protein names and enzyme names. At least my lipids prof (PhD) is honest enough to tell us he doesn't care about half the course material because it is like memorizing the dictionary and doesn't have anything to do with research. *love* However, if we want an A+, memorize it all.
Read Kick-Ass which Phil bought on a whim (w/o my help...sniff...I am so proud of him). Well written (obviously) but I feel like Millar wrote Dave (the main character) a little too creepy. Hit way too close to home.
I want to play Heavy Rain (which I have no time to play). :( EVERYONE gets to play it but me. I am not allowed to until I finish Bioshock 2 (which I have no time to play). :( :( I know...LIFE IS HARD. :B
EDIT: Tim (doki) ALSO doesn't get to play Heavy Rain...so it isn't EVERYONE.
