Diamond Girl by Diana Palmer
I'm watching a movie that's supposed to be based on the novel, Diamond Girl. But they've changed so much. And really basic stuff like the hero's last name. In the book his name is Regan Cole but it's Regan Montana in the movie. They changed the heroine's name completely. She goes from Kenna Dean to Claire something. They giver her a brother that she doesn't have in the book. He lives in New York in the book, but he's living in London in the movie. I don't understand why they adapt from the book and then change everything that was fundamental about the story. Everything that made the book a success. They did the same thing to Loving Evangeline by Linda Howard and The Waiting Game by Kayne Ann Krentz.
