hi my name is andrea, i talked to you once before i had my baby and got some info from you about pitbulls and babies. i'm heather's buddy. well i've been sort of reading your journal (sorry if that sounds a bit creepy) but it's been helpful reading it as you've been going through the same things as me but before it happens to me or oscar. i was just curious if you had any advice on the sleep issue with babies. oscar is one month old as of tomorrow and i'm breastfeeding (to the point that i feel like my new role in life is a cow, oscar seriously eats an hour or an hour and a half if i'm lucky after the last time he ate, it's a full time job just feeding him) anyway, i've been sleeping with him on the couch (my boyfriend works a 9-6 job as a mutual fund computer guy so i dont' want to keep him up all night) and i've been trying to start oscar sleeping in his crib and it just isn't working. where does your baby sleep and if he sleeps in a crib how did you get him to start doing that? everyone keeps telling me to just put oscar in there and let him cry but it drives me crazy when i do that and makes me really sad. sorry about this, i'm just at my wits end at this point and want any advice that i can get...other than that it's been pretty good, he's a calm baby, i'm just afraid he loves his mama's chest way too much, eating wise and sleeping wise. i wanted to ask you for advice because i think we have a lot in common, before baby and now, so it was worth a shot. thanks. i'm also adding you as my buddy on here if that doesn't bother you. if it does let me know and i will take you off.
