so i was perusing my fic in writing folder and i found this adept doc titled: "fic-in-writing" and for the life of me i can't remember if these are my words or the words i copy/pasted from some other fic, so if anyone has seen this fic somewhere lying around, can you inform me? i'd like to reread. if not, please forget i ever asked
Jin remembers Kame once saying in one of those ridicule interviews full with only Jimusho approved questions that he'd give up work and money and fame for love, hands down, no question asked. Sometimes though, seeing him shine like this on stage, sweaty and tired and smiley and full of life, such an asseveration might be difficult to believe.
To Jin, the name Kamenashi Kazuya spells Idol. Has always done so, even when Kame was an awkward, skinny boy with bushy eyebrows and a squeaky voice. Sometimes it's difficult to even imagine what life would be for Kame if he hadn't chosen this career, because nowadays he seems so comfortable in it, Jin can't help but think this is the place Kame belongs to. This is the place Kame looks happier in.
Without flashing stage lights, tired strained muscles, the constant lack of sleep, the inhuman hours, the stress, Japanese Entertainment ridicule rules, what would be of Kamenashi Kazuya, idol extraordinary? Without the fans that love KAT-TUN and whom keep him motivated (except maybe those psycho yarakashi ones, those Kame could do without), what would be of Kame? The Kame who loves his work and loves his fans and cries at concerts for stupid fights and later reconciliations with his band mates? The Kame who is a fashionista but still wears sweatpants and t-shirts one size too large and comfortably rolls around the floor with his dogs laughing at how silly they all look on their own tv show, what'll happen to that Kame? The Kame who is easily embarrassed and oddly sensible, full of determination and secure in his own skin, the Kame who smiles the most when having new experiences and taking on new risks. The Kame Jin is in love with, what will be of him?
Between work, money and fame, Kame's priority would lie on love, but what about the consequences? Sometimes Jin is afraid, truly horrified, of Kame having to make that choice and then regret it for the rest of his life. Maybe though, what Jin is truly fearful is Kame hating himself. Hating the person he becomes because of a decision taken in the heat of things and then blaming him. Mostly though, Jin is afraid of Kame hating him for all that he gave up because of love.
Jin honestly does not want Kame to make that choice. And so, he makes it for the both of them.
You have 1 new voice mail from JIN, the robotic voice from his iPhone speakers informs Kamenashi Kazuya, who wonders why Jin would not wait to see him at the Dome as they had agreed on that morning before he left for the Jimusho for some management talk or the other about his concerts in L.A.
"I know you're going to be mad, but I just want you to remember that I love you and that what I did, I did it for us. For KAT-TUN's sake too, but mainly for us. Because I love you. Always remember it"
