In Antigua
I´m in Guatemala! The flight was great - they upgraded me to business class for some reason and they fed me salad and cheesecake with actual silverware, even though the flight was about an hour long. I´m rather enjoying TACA as an airline - first they give me the economy seat with legroom, now I´m upgraded to business. Fabulous.
Antigua´s really pretty. I can tell these other girls who came here today haven´t done a lot of traveling before. They were flabbergasted when I said I did Japan on my own.
I have the rest of tonight to myself, then I meet the host family tomorrow and do an orientation. Then I have tomorrow afternoon free, and my week of Spanish lessons starts Monday. I start the teaching part the week after.
And no, I could not see the sinkhole from the plane. :-P
