Before I get into the subject of this post, I'd like to wish my friend
radioprecious a very Happy Birthday today. I hope you have a wonderful day and that all your wishes come true! *hugs*
Okay, I've just found out that a dear friend of mine (
sweetgirl7808) has been getting a lot of hate mail and negative criticism for an icon post she made in response to last week's Supernatural episode. Normally I am not the kind of person to get in the middle of something like this, but I feel I must express my complete and utter digust that people would act this way. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and expression of that opinion, and it's not right for other people to make them feel bad about it. Can't you just choose to ignore it and move on without having to be mean? Because of what has happened she says she will no longer make SPN arts and this really saddens me because I think her work is some of the best on the internet. :(
She is a decent, kind and generous person and I can't stress enough how this type of behavior must STOP! She did not deserve to be treated the way she has and neither does anyone else. People need to get a life, skip over things they don't agree with and get over themselves. Manu, if you read this, I love you and I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. I hope you will reconsider your decision about not making anymore SPN arts, because there are SO many people that enjoy them. Don't let those people that were rude to you win! Show them that they can't hurt you and stand up for what you want to post. *HUGS xinfinity*
I'll be back later with my review for episode 6x02.
