This is RETAHDED, but noteworthy.
My eye doctor told me today that I can't wear contacts for the next three-four days or I might get an eye infection or suffer a corneal abrasion. Apparently, my contacts have been sticking to my eyes and: 1. my eyes have molded to the shape of my contacts. 2. I've lost corneal cells and developed "dry spots," lots of them
So, if I keep wearing contacts I'm super prone to infections. Also, my cornea will thin out so much that it'll rip.
Hmmm, does this sound slightly familiar?
I swear, this ailment is really a communicable disease that has yet to be discovered.
