Save the Tatas, and other Marathon stuff

Congrats on our first 5K girls! And congrats on Ryan's 500,000th 5K!

I'm so proud of us for making the Race for the Cure, and I'm so happy that I got to race with such amazing people.

So, now that the Race for the Cure is done, we've got some work ahead of us. (Well, those of us who are doing the Mardi Gras Half-marathon anyway (NICOLLE!!).

Our next 5K could be October 14th, but I've got a conference that weekend.
If you guys are down, you should run it.

However, after that, there is the "Run Through History" 5K on November 4th in Metairie.
I'm definitely going, and like always, we should register through www.runnotc.org

It should be an interesting run, especially since the whole course is run through a cemetery!

By that weekend, we should actually be running 6 miles on the long run, so we might have to work out after the 5K to make up the extra 3 miles.

I definitely need to start brainstorming how exactly we're going to get sponsorship.
Running clothes and entry fees start adding up after a few months.
