Spooky Obituary
Spooky, the Rumble Fish passed on sometime between 8:00 last night and 7:30 this morning. For the past week, he lacked motivation and zeal to rush to the surface to snap at his favorite blood worms. It was his time. He lived a full, lack-lustered life in a designer Pier-1 glass vase, equipped with feng shui river rocks. After six long years of occasionally swimming to the top to nip at food pebbles and sleep nose-in crevices; Spooky the fish has departed this world. Spooky, aka Spookster will forever be remembered for his variable water levels, tail rot, Nemo fin, and former blue sheen.
His memorial service will be held in a front yard on Oregon Street at an indefinite time on Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. He will be laid to rest upon a very comfortable cotton fluff within a Dechoes cardboard jewelry box. His favorite, larger black speckled river rock will serve as his headstone.
