Uh..
Since I've been home.. Yesterday at work sucked aside from two funny things. First one: I was standing in a pit in JUH, and Sam was up on a ledge and needed my ruler. I tossed it up to him, but tossed it too hard by accident. It sailed out of the site completely, and, according to Sam, whacked a security guard's truck. The security guard was not pleased. Second one: I'm in the middle of a stake-out, beating a hub in with the hammer, and suddenly the shell of my hard hat falls off my head. The attatchment remained on my head, though. Sam didn't bother to look and only saw the yellow shell on the ground and goes, "Kris, adjust your hard hat." Only then does he look up, realize what happened, and start laughing. "Oh, nevermind." My brain was in a funk Monday and yesterday, though. Then just as it seemed like the O's would let me down as well, they come back and win a wild game.
Today was good. But my computer is ridden with viruses. But I also found out that my health insurance coverage actually lasts until June 30th. Hooray. More time to procrastinate.
My company had a cook-out after work. I almost left before it started, but I'm glad I ended up staying. Those from the survey department who also stayed: Steve (The boss), 'Pumpkin' (aka Justin), Sam, Fudgey (aka Chris), and me. Fun times drinking and hearing about all the pranks people pull on each other.
JHU was a pain in the ass today. As always.
