Greetings all! I'm afraid this entry wont be merry sunshine and filled with flowers and good tidings. No, today I'm going to talk about something that really grinds my gears. It's something I see on a daily basis given my line of work, but due to recent events and bitching outs from so called friends of mine over the issue, I feel the need to vent

How many TIMES do I have to TELL you? Whenever you're in a situation like that, just stop and think to yourself "what would Josh Queen do"? Not only is it always effective, but it's often hilarious. Take the scenario you explained in the most complicated way ever, for example. Thinking about it? Good! Now, get into Josh Queen mode......

The first thing you realize is that this person is obviously scum. You do not know them, therefor they are unimportant and thereby expendable. The second thing you notice is that a mob mentality is the easiest way to get what you want. EveryONE is afraid of everyone. I would immediately ask the customer in front of him "excuse me, sir? I know this seems terribly asinine, but this guy is OBVIOUSLY better than you and his time is worth more. Would you mind terribly letting him in front of you? Oh, you don't want to? Oh dear...."

This is when you realize your scumbag friend has become flustered, so you now speak directly to him about the events that have just transpired as if he weren't there to hear him. "Sir, I'm sorry, but the other people in the line fail to recognize you OBVIOUS greatness (under your breath call them peasants). Perhaps you'd like to use our VIP register, reserved for only the GREATEST of customers. Right this way sir...."

This is when you lead him outside and lock the door. Any questions? The other version involved getting the other people to corroborate a story that said he was being vulgar and showed his genitalia to the little girl across the room, so you call the police and have him arrested. He's SURE to never come back!
