True Blood and some other stuff...
Well it has been a long time since I have posted an update...so here it goes....
First off, I want to say if there is anyone out there who has HBO but has not started watching True Blood then you should go watch that show right NOW. It is really good, and it has exceeded my expectations. Caleb and I read the first seven books in the series over the summer, and the books are awesome. We were kinda worried the show would be terrible, but it definitely isn't terrible. If you haven't read the books, you should try those too. They are written by Charlaine Harris and the first one is called Dead Until Dark.. The series is called The Southern Vampire Series. Read it or watch it or do both. If you need more persausion the show is done by the man who did American Beauty. And you know you love American Beauty.
Second, life is pretty good right now. Work is going really well. I love my 40 kids this year. They have SO much personality. Plus, the second year is apparently WAY easier than the first. I carpool with two other teachers at my school, and we have a lot of fun.
Chris and I are doing awesome like always. We cannot complain too much about life right now. Caleb is still doing great. He found out he scored in the top 5% of all people who take the GED in South Carolina, so that is awesome. He got a certificate and everything. Chris just had his birthday, so that was fun. He is getting old. HaHa. I got him a Pittsburgh Steelers hat and Caleb bought him Iron Man. That movie is perfect. What he doesn't know I ordered him is an Obama/Biden sign for the front yard. He'll LOVE that. :) We saved someones Obama sign on our walk on Friday afternoon. Some moron had taken an Obama sigh from somone elses yard and crumpled it up and thrown it in a ditch. Well that was just unacceptable for us. So we rescued it and put it back in their yard. We had noticed that these people had Obama signs earlier in the week so we knew it was theirs. I swear people are idiots. I cannot wait to vote. We got Caleb registered as well, so we can all go vote together. And I am sure you know who we are voting for. ;)
