Brodie is more than likely out for the season...and we need to keep him in our thoughts and prayers!!!

Some quotes from Brodie...
"I was just going to the sideline. I went to plant and my knee just went out. (torn ACL) This isn't how I imagined it happening. But I've been through it before and I'll start over again It was just unfortunate that it happened.

"Both of those guys (Guillon and Pennington) are very capable and they can take this team where we need to go."

"I knew it was probably my last drive. You can't play games being scared. This had nothing to do with the coaches not taking me out. The first group just needed more reps."

Junior quarterback Brodie Croyle (Rainbow City) made his 16th career start tonight for Alabama ... Croyle completed 14 of 22 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns ... He left the game after the opening possession of the second half and did not return ... Croyle suffered a torn ACL and will likely have season-ending surgery on Tuesday, Sept. 21st ... Croyle opened the scoring with a nine-yard TD pass to junior tight end Clint Johnston to give Alabama a 7-0 lead with less than two minutes off the first quarter clock ... Croyle capped the first half scoring with a 41-yard TD pass to redshirt freshman Matt Caddell to give the Tide a 31-0 lead ... Croyle's two TD passes moves him into a tie for seventh place on the all-time list with Scott Hunter (1968-70) with 27 career TD passes ... Croyle moved ahead of Jay Barker (8th, 1991-94, 26 TD) and Joe Namath (9th, 1962-64, 25 TD) in the first half ... For his career, Croyle has completed 286 of 530 passes for 3,883 yards and 27 TDs ... Croyle's 3,883 career passing yards ranks him seventh on the school's all-time list, moving him past Gary Hollingsworth (8th, 1989-90, 3,842 yards) ... With 288 career completions, Croyle moved into seventh place all-time as he surpassed Walter Lewis (8th, 286, 1980-83) and Tyler Watts (9th, 284, 1999-2002) on the all-time list ...

AWWW y'all this is sad....:(

This doesnt make it much better..but its something to be proud of...

Anytime you lose by 52 points, hopefully you'll learn something from it. Obviously, I don't think we are going to see any better athletes this season. Hopefully we can take from our mistakes and get better."
