Exactly one amazing year of knowing mark

Quite the weekend this has been. Mark and I went and picked up the keys to his new condo on Friday. We the headed to Osoyoos. It was a complete down pour all through Hope and a bit. Like scary down pour. And when we got here it was really calm and nice. I gave him his present early because I couldn't wait. Its a really cute scrap book with everything in it that we have done together and my thoughts on all the occasions.. starting with our fist date. He then woke me up at 6 in the morning to give me my precious present. His unsettling "Uh-oh" was then followed by a card of telling me all the reasons why he loves me and that his gift to me was his love always. Then he asked me to marry him and (after saying yes) he said the unsettling Uh-oh was because he put the ring on my hand while I was sleeping and it wasn't there anymore. It was the cutest most romantic and comical moment ever. The ring was on the ground though, now on my hand safe and sound. Who would have thought my left hand is smaller than a size 5? go figure. Its all the weight of the huge diamond. Happiest day of my life? By far. And I can't wait to see the expressions on Red, Jen, Irene, Bryn, Tom and Mrs Young when they see it. Oh tomorrow will be a busy day.
This is the ring!! you cant see it in detail cuz my camera phone is limited... but its a gorgeous TACORI (omg... melt) Ring.. encrested with 40 diamonds and one beautiful princess center cut. Am I gloating? I have the right to, most amazing thing to ever happen to me.



PS.. when he asked my Dad's permission, my dad almost cried. MY DAD! How adorable is that?
