My next bartending gig
is next Saturday at the Siren Music Festival (www.sirenmusicfestival.com) in Coney Island. From what I understand, it's a bunch of indie/upcoming bands. I took a look at the list, never heard any of them.
I'll find out what tent I'll be working in; initially I thought I was working the whole thing (12-9), but this week I found out I'm only working the 1st shift (12-4; but I have to get there at 11, which means I'd have to leave my place around 9).
Also, this gig is a non-paying one, but hopefully I'll get some tips out of this. Plus I'll get a reference from the organizers, which will also help.
