what a fabulous, fabulous ending to a great summer. yesterday was rafael's going away party, which was at some campground on a lake in belding or rockford or something like that. it was beautiful, and out in the woods. no one i didnt like showed up. i drank for the first time there, and i have to say, its really not as exciting as people make it out to be. i just couldnt really walk.
raf loved the scrapbook that nikki (and all of our contributions) made him. it was beautiful and he said he wanted to cry at it.
it was warm and it didnt rain and i got to sleep next to my boyfriend, who kept stealing the blanket from me. i didnt get bitten that many times by mosquitoes, which was cool. the ground was extremely uncomfortable, but it made my bed feel all that much better.
this entry does not encapsulate in any way how wonderful the night was, but im really not that articulate and creative to put the feelings of the night into words. so there. just imagine a night in the woods with your best friends right before everyone leaves you. but youre not thinking about how they are going to leave, youre just thinking about how much you enjoy them. it was wonderful.
