Yesterday I sat outside and drank margaritas at a bar on South Congress. Later in the evening I went to this crazy bar and watched Mr. Lewis and the Funeral Five and White Ghost Shivers. Polka psychobilly gyspsy klesmer ragtime vaudeville circus rock is the new swing. Except cooler and less predictable with weirder fashion sense. I didn't have to put on a sweater until the sun set. December in Texas is WEIRD. Today the high is 79. TOMORROW THE HIGH IS 81.
It seems utterly ridiculous that I will soon be flying home to snow covered trees and red noses and mittens and my heavy winter jacket.
ALSO: Next week Thursday Niki and I will be cold kicking it in DETROIT. I am seriously so excited I could puke.
