in anticipation of 2009
Holidays will come and go, seasons will change, and so will we. We're different from who we used to be, but essentially, we're still the same people, aren't we? Still Kristine and Gino, Gino and Kristine. You're still the guy searching for a sense of self, for that "courage", for "the answer". I'm still that girl who wants to change the world. And we, we're still us, still as in love as we were since those first pen taps in video arts, since those weekends in Ottawa, since the proposal in Paris. Last night, I told you I didn't believe in new year's resolutions, and I still don't. I believe in doing what we want, when we want, how we want. One day, you're going to find a note that says, "run away with me" and a few hours later, we'll find ourselves who-knows-where-except-that-we're-together. And I know that one day isn't now, but I promise that someday (soon) it will be.
