backaches and stormy drives

I guess there are a few things of interest to update to whoever even reads this.

1. The Garlic Press hired me for some reason. I put in my two weeks' notice at BB&B and got this sudden influx of people telling me I can't leave because I'm his or her favorite haha. Yeah I know. No really I'm going to miss the kids I work with. Getting free coffee drinks while I work with organic food at a place that isn't a big corporation that I hate drew me away successfully though...

2. Austin is coming this weekend and then I think him and Kylebear are gonna look at apartments eeeeeeeeeeeee! If he really moves here I will probably pee my pants with excitement.

3. I'm starting to feel guilty about not going home this summer. My parents are probably used to it but I feel like my sister needs me. It's a lot easier to be flipped out at by our mom when you have other people there on your side. I feel like she's getting all of mum's frustrations now that me and Jason are gone, and my dad's house isn't much better because our 2 stepbrothers are still there and she's not very close with them at all. I hope fall gets here soon for her sake but I still want to rescue her in the meantime.

4. Karen and I went to EIU (where my sister is going in the fall!) Friday night for Stacy's birthday. Oh my goodness. At first I was thinking "ughhh all these dudebros and silly girls and rap music, no one here is going to like me" and I hung out for longer and everyone was so nice to me oh my goodness. I felt like an ass later for thinking it; I'm just so used to hanging out with people who are more like me but Stacy and I have a bond that goes past stupid things like that and her newer friends probably felt that so they made me feel at home. Then since I was Stacy's entourage people bought ME shots and beers too for HER birthday haha. I also saw my 6th grade boyfriend Ryan and my art camp BFF Derek who is coming here on Tuesday to look for grad school apartments and little Yso even if it was only for 5 minutes. Oh Charleston, Stacy can make even YOU fun!
