I wanna talk about ME

The loverly Karla at Creative Blossoms has given me an award! I feel so special! <3

My assignment is to pass this award on to 15 other bloggers, and to list seven random facts about myself. But since I cannot find 15 people who are not already swamped in blog awards, I am only going to pass it on to 3.

Kirsten Rice
Kate Hart
Amy Lukavics

Ladies, come on down and claim your prize!!!

And now, seven random facts about Kristin:

1.) I don't eat hoof, as my dad would say. I gave up red meat on January 1 as one of my new year's resolutions. I haven't had beef or pork since then, except on a few occasions when it would have been rude to NOT to eat it. As a result, I'm one of the most freakishly healthy college kids you've ever seen, and I regularly cook my guests veggie omlettes and veggie burgers and...lots and lots of veggies. (Needless to say, I'm not the one who's volunteered to bring snacks to a party.) But it feels great, and I totally recommend that everyone tries to add at least a few vegetarian habits to their diet.

2.) I have never been to a tanning salon and I never will, because I believe that skin cancer should be acquired by lying on the porch with a good book or surfing it up at the beach. I'll die of NATURAL ultraviolet radiation, thanks very much.

3.) I crush on a new band just about every week. Right now I am newly obsessed with The Fray - particularly this song.

Tell me you don't adore those key changes. Seriously.

4.) I have a bit a of a teapot fetish.

See?

5.) I took voice lessons for seven years, and I'm still not good. Although I could probably hold my own in a karaoke competition, there are no record labels begging me to sign a contract.

6.) I can down a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream in approximately 6.5 minutes. I am not lying.

7.) When I was about nine, I wanted to be a marine biologist - mostly so I could swim with dolphins for a living. It took me a few years to realize that marine biology is actually a science, and I kind of hated science.
