(no subject)
SOM: 5 days until opening night!!!
I had set today for 9 hours! We painted some stuff, stained (Olivia, now I know what you mean with that stuff. I look diseased.) We also fixed the Mother Abbess's monster desk! Then from like 2:30 until like 6, we did a cue to cue and we only got through Act 1! It was fun because I got to do Maria's, the Mother Abbess's, Leisl's, Asha's, and a party guest's blocking. I also had to hold up curtains, then Susong laughed at me because I was still holding them. Don't ask me why, it's Susong. Then we had to repaint the stage black, but it's all pretty now.
I am sooo excited for the show, though!!! It's going to be awesome, everyone is doing so well, and I have absolutely no idea where we would be right now if everyone hadn't put in all the hard work that they have put in! A huge thank you to all of you! The orchestra came last night and it was a lot of fun because we got to hear how everything was really going to sound. I can't believe that the show is in less than a week and I'm so excited. I can't wait to perform (well, technically not perform, but close enough. No pun intended.) It's also really sad 'cause the show is gonna be over so soon. I can't really imagine my life without it 'cause it's been my life for a while now.
