First, I have to say: "Caucus, caucus, caucus!" ~Simpsons
I'm glad I had a snow/ice/sleet/generally horrible weather day today, because I slept terribly for the second night in a row. Monday night, I partially blame it on the fact that Joe came to bed at 2, and that probably woke me up some. But I still woke up again after that. I was tired and unmotivated last night, so I had a nap, which probably contributed to last night, but it wasn't all. I'm normally a head-hit-the-pillow-and-I'm-out kind of person. I fight sleep until it threatens to take over, and I go there quickly. SO it bothers me to lay there waiting for sleep to come slowly. My brain is usually buzzing still, and I feel like it is time I could be getting something done. LAst night I forced myself to bed on the off chance that there would be school today, but I did not sleep well. It was probably 12:30 that I fell asleep, and I woke up at 3:30. I decided to go to the bathroom then, but I didn't have to go bad enough to have woken up. I went back to sleep, only to wake up from a dream that I had overslept and there really wasn't a snow day and I was going to be very late. I was in a panic until I looked at the clock and realized it was only 4:33, and the call hadn't been made yet. I was back sound asleep when the call did come throught at 5:19, and I kinda resented that I had to get up and turn off the alarm across the room. I think I vaguely heard Joe get moving, and I woke up suddenly from a dream while he was shaving. I decided then to get up then and go shovel for him, so he wouldn't get to work all wet. And I kinda figured it was the least I could do, being off today. Things are a bit slick out there, and it was a bit of a task, but I figured it would take my mind off my dreams. It didn't.
Entry never finished. I never was back in the mood.
