Lazy Monday
I knew I wanted to relax today, but I'm not sure this was what I had in mind.
I haven't updated in a while; in fact, no one has. I have no friend entries to look at. I don't care what people say, facebook has killed the blog.
So I am off today, because it is a holiday and the students are off. BUmmer that I don't get paid, but nice to have a three day weekend. I just wish I could get myself into a project. I have spent 2 hours trying to get started on one, but I just kinda keep circling around the room, not getting to one. i doesn't help that I have a wicked cold coming on, so my nose alternates between feeling like a clown nose and dripping like the shop sink faucet in the basement. Luckily, I don't really have anywhere to go, since it is snowing like crazy. I wish it would just keep snowing, so I could have a snow day. It's not going to happen, but a girl can dream. I think I'm going to go sew in a bit, but I have to decide which project I want to do.
I had a few dreams last night, as I slept in 2 hours more than I wanted. First I dreamed that I found my engagement ring. Well, it found me, as in I woke up and was surprised to see it there. Back in reality, I searched for half an hour, and still haven't found it.
The second dream was about Papa. It is strange, because I don't dream a lot about people, especially about family. I guess he was just on my mind.
I'm gonna go do something useful now.
