Life is pretty good right now. Yesterday was an extremely full day, but it felt productive. :) I went to see Dana's friend's band yesterday at the Blind Pig (called Inleiof, I believe). They were kick-ass, but the people before them sucked ass! The singer guy was a cowboy wanna-be who was annoying as hell--and he couldn't sing a dern lick o' music, either! Other than them, it was pretty sweet (but sooooo cold outside!!). I finally got my math classes straightened out, and I think the one I'm in now will be good.
So Scott called me the night before last COMPLETELY WASTED. I've never heard/seen ANYONE this drunk before. We talked (or rather, he mumbled) for about an hour and a half. He was absolutely hysterical!! (and so adorable!) (I told him some of the things he said, but of course he didn't remember.) But then, in the middle of our conversation, he passed out! He'd just gotten done saying that he missed me, and then didn't talk anymore at all! It scared the hell out of me at the time, 'cause I'd thought he had alcohol poisoning (he'd mentioned something about being cold, too). I didn't know whether or not to call 911, but Meagan said not to, so I didn't. (But I did call his cell phone about every 10 or 20 minutes for the next few hours, trying to wake him up!) He called me as soon as he woke up, and didn't remember a thing! I was just happy he was OK.
So don't ya hate it when someone starts a story/says "family sucks ass," and then decides they're not going tell you anything else about it? OK, let's get something straight right here and right now: If you do this, you are not cool. People do not think you are special or intriguing in any way, and nobody will sympathize with whatever problem it is you're having and are too good to explain. If you didn't want to talk about it, or "it doesn't matter," then do me a favor and don't waste my time by bringing it up in the first place. (This situation is especially sucky when the person doing this used to be someone that would tell you everything....) Of course, I'm not drawing this from any particular person or real life experience or anything...... ::sigh:: Sometimes, I really hate people.
Today's Resolution: Try to actually say what I'm feeling/thinking to those around me.
