i'm enjoying my old school music selection this morning.
sooooo...
yesterday wasn't too eventful. came home, walked the dog, washed lots and lots of dishes. (since all my dishes have either been in storage for 2 years, or are brand new, they ALL need to be cleaned) so that was a riot. woo! my parents got me a set of pots and pans as a housewarming present...they're kitchen aid and they're RED! oh yes i love them so.
then i cleaned my bathroom...which was left rather icky by the previous tenant.
and boy did i use some elbow grease, yes i did.
those clorox wipes are a dream.
oh my god...this is the saddest entry ever, i'm talking about cleaning my apartment.
anyway, so i had a visit by the wonderful Lokin last night. lots of fun chatting, and i got to show off my apartment! yay!
adventure of the night: my lock for the french doors gets stuck sometimes, and Lokin had to get a wrench out of his car to help me lock it (since i'm a girl and i have no tools, do they make cute little girly tool sets? need one!) and then the key started to break in the lock! ahh! so got the doors locked, and got the key out, so i now need to make a copy AND get me some WD-40. oh yes. now that is excitement, no?
