This weekend
so i went home this weekend for the first time since aug. 22. it was such a good weekend. next week is technically my fall break but we have an away night game on saturday and practice monday so a lot of girls can't go home in between and we had off this weekend from games so this was a coach-instituted fall break.
saturday i went to the sv girls soccer game... natalie was happy/excited to see me so my mission was complete. it's wierd seeing them play though... i guess when you graduate 14 seniors it doesn't feel or even closely resemble your team anymore, you know? weird. o well, she's amazing and i HAD to get home to see her @ least once this year, you know, while it's still FREE to watch her play. (yes, i'm VERY jealous of her incredible talent) so anyway, that was fun..
then, i went to the hc game. it was alright. the people who i really wanted to see weren't there though :( it's like really not a sun valley game to me if kev's not there :/. and he wasn't. i mean i still sat w/ his parentals and watched his bro but it's just not the same. i dunno. but mad props to the kids who worked on the floats! they were really good :) i ended up going home w/ my 'rents before the game was even over bc i felt really sick and i got a nice good night's sleep in my own bed... which was incredible.
did i mention i went home this weekend to be superfan? i woke up early saturday and went w/ my mom & bro to my other bro's 9am soccer game. fuuuuuun- but i mean i have to go to as many of their games bc they come to so many of mine. after the game i was home for 2 hours and then kev king came over and we headed up to west chester for kev's football game. it was a good time :) i love kevin king... i always have and probably always will... no one else has faith in the poor kid but i do and he's doing so well right now. anyways, kev didn't play but west chester won. and omg- the band @ that school is incredible! that made it worth it. but the game took FOREVVVVVER so i got home and was home for 10 min before i ran out again. it was the craziest day ever.
i drove out to springfield and picked up my little cousins. we went out to dinner and then went to the muhlenberg/swarthmore guys socer game @ swat. unfortunately we lost :( again. the guys just aren't pulling through this year. but it was fun, some of my friends from school came down for the game and davis, my best guy friend ever, was pretty happy to see me so you know... and i love suprising people :) anyway, of COURSE that game went into double OT so i got out of there late, too. i took my lil cuz's home and drove right up to west chester again.
that night was sooo fun. kev's guy friends are awesome. the girls @ wcu just kinda suck. no offense to anyone on here but everyone i've encountered is over-dressed, overly made-up, and esp. overly-bitchy. one of his friends (who was @ home this weekend) is kool to me. that's it. but it's ok, i love his friends, and esp. his roomies. they are awesome. it was a very fun, drunken evening. sun morning i woke up w/ kev next to me and 1 of his roomies walking around butt-naked and the other 2 in their boxer-briefs jumping on top of me & kev. haha... i dunno i just don't typically wake up that way, it was very funny.
i basically spent sunday cleaning up some stuff, unpacking/repacking things i didn't need/needed at school, shopping, you know. my cousins came over for dinner and so did kev... man how much do i miss my mom's home cooking? spagetti & chicken parm :) YUM! next weekend, too, we're having wedding soup & lasagna. haha can't wait!!!
anyways, overall it was a good weekend. saw lots of athletic events... missed a WHOLE lot of my best friends (who by the way will be home next weekend when i won't-- go figure. anything to make this suck even more) and it was just so good to be hOOOOOme. p.s- people @ college make fun of the way "we" (atown people) say home, phone, etc. get used to it. haha.
