update
so yeah, summer is here & in full swing, and it's alright i guess. i mean, i'm working a lot and i'm finally getting to see SOME benefits of it (meaning the money isn't flying right out the window) but yeah besides going away i'm not having a lot of FUN. last week me & kev went to sea isle & ocnj for the day and that was awesome. a house three houses away from the beach alllllll to ourselves, a gorgeous day, it was really nice. i mean, does it get much better than sitting in a chair at the ocean's edge with the sun beating down and your feet in the water, your boyfriend sitting next to you, a book in your left hand and a mixed drink in your right? ummm no, didn't think so.
so that was an awesome day, and then the following day i got my new bed, which i also love... but besides that i don't have much to be excited about. i haven't hung out with courtney in weeks. yeah, my best friend. i hardly see kristen and when i do we are doing nothing because we don't feel like putting out effort after we have both worked all day & night. let alone all my other "friends". i dunno, i'm beginning to question this summer business. i mean older people from school were like summer after freshman year SUCKS and i was determined it wouldn't but no one ever invites me to go out and when i come up with ideas for things to do they are always shot down.... sucks a lot. sucks that i wish i was with the friends i've had for 8 months up @ school then here where i've lived for the past 14 years. whatever. just wish someone sometime would call me up and be like, hey kristen, a bunch of us are doing this, wanna come? hahaha riiiiight.
however, i guess i can't complain if i don't make the effort so i think me & albie are gonna try to get a bunch of our so-called "friends" together for a cookout. that could be fun, but i mean it really won't make the rest of the summer get better... i know.
blah. is it august yet? @ least school work can be put off whereas this bullshit scheduled crap dominates your life.
