Hey kids! KG back on the LJ...but prolly the only update you'll see for the next 3 months or so. It's June and I've graduated from Butler. I bought a new car..and 06 graphite jetta. It's pretty pimp and is so nice to drive. I still live with Erin and I'm still at the Grill. I am also coaching at BC (and we're kicking ass this year...we practice 3-4 days a week and are so ready for camp in 2 weeks). I start teaching dance in July when I get home from Vegas (going for my bday with some other MG girls and my aunts). I'm teaching dance to at-risk kids thru a program with Hamilton Co. I also start teaching social work classes in August (self-esteem, girl power, role model 101, etc.). I'm really excited to use my skills and resources in a way other than counseling (which I grew pissy with this year as I realized how pathetically political administrators at schools are). Oh yeah, screw you Clay Middle School.
In other news, been hanging with the family quite a bit. I also make sure to take at least one day off a week now, different for me, but absolutely fabulous. Too bad that those days typically get filled up pretty quick with birthday parties, graduation open houses and dinner with friends and family. But I always sleep in...which rocks. I'm happily dating Jeff, a guy I've been seeing on and off for a while now. We're doing great. He looks after me, makes sure I don't stress too much, and he's fantastically sweet to me. That other guy fell off the radar (and his rocker). I'm actually in love with Jeff. My dad's family loves him too...which is a plus.
He's sleeping beside me now as I type away. I just got home from practice and I'm here for breakfast, which I don't think we'll be having anytime soon which he's indicating with his snoring. Working later tonight, but in the meantime pondering the pool at my apt complex. Need a tan and want a dip.
I miss my friends...come visit me!!! (Brad you know that means you...btw, my friend Mike last night asked if I wanted to go see the light exhibit at the IMA...I'm stoked that he knew about your exhibit!!! We're going this week, hopefully). :) Ciao guys!
