In addition to avatar lovin' (bleeding anus guy? Scrubs? super-hot back tat? the cute vegan bodybuilder?) and mutual interests (look at all the bolds! And a few that aren't bold but that are still in-common) - hell yes! :) Although you might force me to change my profile, as I can no longer claim, in good conscience, to be the only HP/LotR/etc. anti-fan in the world. Damn you.

Wow, it's been forever-and-a-day since I've heard the name Harvey Danger! I remember the heyday of Flagpole Sitta, and I am downloading accordingly. Vielen Dank for the links! The first is downloading now, the other will be checked out immediately afterward.

Lessee...hard to sum up my music! There are groups I love/loathe from nearly every genre, and I admit to a heaping handful of what are best discounted as "guilty pleasures." (fairly recent post about such: http://kristenny.livejournal.com/330185.html).

Best way to sum it up is to be a lazyass and copy from my FaceBook (haha):

FAVORITE MUSIC: A little bit of almost everything, but highlights include: Brand New, Matchbox Twenty, Tabitha's Secret, Theory of a Deadman, Jeff Buckley, Rollins Band, Duncan Sheik, Leah Andreone, Lifehouse, Ingram Hill, Ich + Ich, Jump Little Children, Breaking Benjamin, Bif Naked, Chevelle, Dynamite Hack, Rammstein, Eels, Green Day, Johnny Cash, Richard Cheese, Eve 6, Ben Folds Five, Gin Blossoms, Better Than Ezra, Tonic, Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Spill Canvas, Submersed, All-American Rejects, Silverchair, Nada Surf, Rooney, Papa Roach, The Streets, Weezer, Zero 1 (a.k.a. The Hal Sparks Band). See? Random. Big fan of '90s alt-rock, before the rise of kiddy pop, boybands, 15 year old girls with record deals, the Simpson sisters, and modern rap

CAN'T STAND/WILL NEVER RAPE MY MP3 PLAYER: The White Stripes (who the fuck gave them a deal?), ColdPlay (pseudo-intellectual bullshit), any rap/hiphop that came out after 1996 or isn't one of Eminem's first three albums, anything No Doubt/Gwen post-Tragic Kingdom, Red Hot Chili Peppers (oh look, a new record...that sounds just like the last record..which sounded just like the record before...which still sucked!), Celine Dion, Destiny's Child (monkeys locked in rooms w/typewriters could write better songs), 98% of 80s music, anything techno/house/trance, The Cranberries, The Smashing Pumpkins and all resulting solo ventures, Natalie Merchant. Nothing personal against those of you who DO like any of these...it's just not for me

Please don't kill yourself over it, though, as I'm flexible - and I LOVE being introduced to new music! ;)

Speaking of which...off to listen now! Thanks! *added*
