I hope everyone had a fantastic halloween. Mine was exhillerating! Yesterday, me Mandy, Brandi, Katt, and Ty decorated our porch, carved pumpkins, roasted the seeds, handed out candy and went to NV for a night of dancing, meeting new people, and just enjoying each other's company. There was a costume contest. My favorite, other than Katt's of course, was the guy dressed up in the electrocution chair. It was so realistic it was scary. Of couse, in keeping with tradition, we had to stop at Walmart on the way back for donuts.
This was, by far, the best halloween I've had in a long long time. It's really wonderful being with people that you know care about you. I guess it's something I'm not used to yet. It sounds really cheesy, but sometimes I like to go to bed early while everyone is still here and just listen to them talk and laugh. I especially love the laughter. When you've lived in a house that only had screaming, fighting, and beating for years, being in a home where there is lots of laughter just in the next room is a really amazing experience. It reminds me constantly that I really don't know how my life can get any better. Like I said, it's cheesy, but I went from one extreme to another so fast that it still leaves my head spinning sometimes. Yes, life is good.
