It seems that everybody i know even me is in their own way upset and i don't understand. I don't under stand how you can work your ass off and once your in college and have earned a scholarship how they say they want you to succed and then instead of trying to help you the breath down your neck and say it's your fault, that you need to raise them ( Read more... )

lol, venting gone horribly wrong. I think what she's getting at is that we are all comfortable. Relatively speaking, if i have a 10 page paper due in an hour, but i'm being shot at, or i hear explosions happening within a block or two, or i haven't eaten in 3 weeks, or i have a disease that is curable, but since i live where i do i can't get acess to the medication, well you see what i mean.

There's one great thing about livejournal, if not our group that sits and reads each others lj. We can vent, complain, speak our minds, and talk about our troubles, our worries, our wishes and we know we have others who do read them, who do care about us, even if they don't comment.

What I think Kristen tried to do is vent. she was probably realized something that dawned on me a while ago, something some of you might, or might not fully understad, actually, something none of us will ever understand. She saw Tim venting about the stress he's dealing with in school, with his grades, etc. And she saw Josh's posts, trying to find some meaning to his existance (which, i have to say is right in front of you. All you have to do is pretty much point to a direction and start walking). Her point was that nomatter what we complain about, NOMATTER what problems life throws at us, we still are very blessed with everything that we ordinarily take for granted compared with pretty much 70% of the world's population.

Even compared to those around us, we have so much. I've talked to so many people here at school, and they all tell me that they've had one, maybe two good friends from high school. Josh, i know you can name at least 5 people from you can call at anytime just to talk to, same with you Tim, Tabitha, Anne, Michele, and so many more (yeah, i'll get bitched at for leaving out names, but i'm just trying to make a point).

So hopefully that kinda makes sense.

it started out as me being upset that everybody else was upset and i was upset and then i noticed that alot of aids raising was going on around the world and i realized how lucky i was not to be one of those people who has it our who has someone special to me that has it. so to complain about stuff is like millions of people would give there life to be me or any of my friends.
