My move to Birmingham has been awesome... I feel so good about everything... school, relationships, my future... it's a feeling I've never had before. I have never felt so secure about what is going to happen after I graduate. Yeah, I'll be a semester or so behind but I'm going to do it... and before my sister starts school, but that's in 2010 so I think have a little bit. She's about to turn 16 and is growing up way too fast...
...Dorean Lives is having their first show in over a year next weekend. They are working so hard and I'm very proud of all of them! The show is February 9th at 6:30pm in Gadsden and everyone should come! We're making cupcakes :)
You should all go listen to Matt Nathanson and Ingrid Michaelson because they are amazing musicians. I have Matt's sweat on me from the show on Sunday... never washing my arm... ever. And of course, Ingram Hill. Mr. McDaniel let me hear them last night from their show in Mississippi and it made my night.
Kidding. But I can't believe Valentine's Day is almost here... it's unreal to think how unhappy I was this time last year. Amazing what one person can do to your whole world. I won't lie, the distance sucks. I've always been used to long distance relationships and the one that wasn't long distance felt like it. He makes me feel incredible, and I pray that every person on this Earth will get to feel like this once in their lifetime. Love.
