Judging Love Chapter 8

I got home the night Blake was being released and there was a guy on a porch. A defense feeling went up because I was afraid of the fact that the gunman has still not been caught. Then I noticed it was Josh. Why is he here?
"Jade can I have a word with you?" Josh asked
"No, I don't feel like talking and especially tonight."
"Just one minute that is all I need."
"I was really worried about you.... Okay I heard about what a happened to Blake but all I could think about is it could have been you."
"Why would you be worried about me?" I said rolling my eyes
"Why wouldn't I be worried about you. I have known you since we were kids. You were the first girl I actually cared about."
"You sure did have a way of showing it."
"Jade, I love you, you know that."
"No, you love that you can't have me. I don't love you. I love Blake."
"Jade, I know you have been through a lot the past few days but come on you don't have to keep telling yourself lies. We are meant to be together."
Josh tried to come into a hug
"Josh no. I don't want to ever be with you. You and me are two different people. Our past is out past. I was stupid to ever get in bed with you and I had lots of heartache and pain after. Just leave me alone."
"How many times do I have to say I'm sorry. I realized after after I thought you were about killed the other day that I love you and need you." I felt his lips try to press ti mine I was turning my head and pushing away and he caught my cheek
"I'm sorry Josh but I don't feel the same. Please leave me alone."
"Jade? Come on?"
"Leave me alone Josh I mean it."
"Fine! Don't come crawling back to me when Blake has had his feel of you and left you."
Later that night I made it back over to Blake's place. Relaxing in bed, Blake was waiting for my arrival. Blake noticed the hurt in my eyes. I didn't even go inside to get my clothes from my house I was so upset that I just came strait over.
"Whats wrong?" Blake sat up.
"Josh was at my house waiting for me."
"What happened Jade?"
I told Blake everything about Josh's harassment.
"I will kill him! How dare he come and harass you after everything he put you through. Where is he now?"
"He is probably at home now. Baby please calm down."
"No I won't calm down. I have about had it with him and your family. I won't let them tear us apart."
"Blake... there is nothing you can do about it to make it any better. Please. just calm down and lets go to bed okay."
"Fine..." Blake sighed then crawled into bed. I could tell he was still tense, however I didn't want to pursue the matter.
The next day we went to the mall so I could get me some change of clothes. Blake was still upset about Josh but I didn't bother him about it. We walked quietly into the mall. I knew he wasn't mad at me... but I could still feel the sadness in my heart to see him so angry. I wasn't sure I liked it at all.
"That son of a bitch is here right now!" Blake said and out of the corner of my eye I saw Josh walking out of Holister.
"Blake please just let it go." I said getting annoyed with his anger.
"I can't let it go. He can't treat you like that. I love you Jade and I will do anything to protect you. Josh, there is something wrong with his mind and I am going to see to it that he won't want to mess with you again. He could have tried to rape you!"
"He didn't try to rape me! I mean yes he pursued to try and kiss me but no!"
"Well he won't be pursuing anything."
Before Blake turned Josh was standing right there.
"I'll pursue who ever I please." Josh hissed at Blake
"Never set eyes on Jade again!" Blaked growled
"I have already had a good look at her."
"I mean it! You will never lay another finger on her, and if you try I will rip you to pieces."
"Oh my hands were all over her when we were together. My hands, my fingers, my lips, and well you get the picture. I loved hearing her moan of pleasure. It was really an exciting sound. I couldn't help it if she wasn't enough for me though." Josh smirked.
"You asked for it!" Blake pointed his finger and jumped onto Josh
Blake had hit Josh against the wall. Then Josh plowed into Blake into the ground. it wasn't before to long a few punches had been swapped and then Blake had Josh into a headlock. I knew the mall police were on there way.
"Blake!" I yelled at him to stop
"Blake just stop!!"
It was too late, the mall police had done came to break up the fight. Blake was clutching his arm. I knew he had hurt it. Blake's eyes were set on mine as they drug him and Josh to the mall's detention center, his eyes were filled with regret. I knew I couldn't be mad at him for long, but I would let him suffer this one out until we get home.
