Judging Love Chapter 3

I was getting off the phone with Lori when I heard the doorbell ring. It was Blake. Me and Blake had became really close the past month. He would listen to me complain about my parents, he would listen to me cry when my mom tried to force me on dates with Josh, I never went of course. Though he never really told me much about his life.
"Hey!" He said smiling at me. "So this is what the inside of your house looks like."
"Yeah, so what are you doing here?" I asked and thanking the heavens that my parents had left to do some campaigning.
"I came to share a new song with you."

"That was amazing." I said a moment after he quite playing. The beginning reminded me on how I always came to him.
"Yeah I just kind of put it together." He said staring at his feet. I loved how he didn't boast.
"It was nice..."
"The gang is meeting up at the club tonight do you want to come with?" Craig said changing the subject.
"Sure what time should I be there?"
"Around 8." He said then he gave me a quick hug. I breathed in his cologne, it smelled really good.
"Ooooh and who was he?" O heard a voice stir behind me. It was Jessica, my older sister.
"Just a friend." I replied.
"Oh really? He doesn't look like anyone I know."
"That is because he goes a a public school like normal people, does not come from money, and his parents are neither politically involved or have done anything over achieving."
"You know mom and dad won't approve."
"Well I guess that doesn't matter because we are just friends." I said walking away.
I knew she was right. Even if he wasn't just a friend they would not want me hanging out with him. They wouldn't be too happy if they found out about the band I was involved in either. I had been sneaking off to practices telling them that I was studying over at Lori's. I don't care though Blake has became one of my best friends next to Lori. He understood me on the normal basis. He didn't expect anything from me.
I walked into the club and instantly found Blake and the others.
"Glad you showed up." Chris said as I sat down.
"Okay, the gig is next Saturday." Blake started. "I think we should do Black Ice."
"But, we played that one too much before when Cameron was in the band." Aj protested. Cameron was the old lead singer. They never brought him up too much."We need to give the audience something fresh."
"We haven't been over the other songs as much with Jade." Blake said back.
"You can't expect Jade to sing Cameron's song!" Chris cut in. Blake had a hurt look on his face and got up.
"Your right we shouldn't play Black Ice. It wouldn't be right." He said about to leave.
"I'm sorry man I didn't mean it like that." Chris said again.
"Yeah man don't be mad." Aj said
"Blake?" I asked but he was done walking away.

"Blake? Blake! Hey wait up." I said but he never slowed down.
"What?" He spat not turning around.
"What was up with that... Cameron's song?"
"Nothing."
"But..."
"It is nothing okay..." Why would he never let me in but he could listen to me for hours? "Jade I'm sorry can we just get out of here?"
I knew what would cheer him up. I nice game of Halo 3.
"HAHA sticky grenade!" I said laughing.
"Yeah well my alien laser gun will defeat you first!" He said dodging my grenade. Then he aimed his gun at me but I did a Mele attack against him.
"No fair!" He cried out. "Hey hold still for just a minute."
"No way you will kill me!"
"No I won't I promise." So I kept my player still. His character walked up to mine then just stood there.
"What is the point of that!"
"My halo player thinks yours is cute." He said with a laugh. I was still confused.
"And?"
"So he is kissing you."
"That is what you call it?" I said laughing. Then we both got silent. I looked into his eyes. He grabbed the remote control from my hands and laid it on the table. And inched closer to me.
"I would kiss you right now, if you would let me." He said in a whisper. My body curled with excitement. Oh how I wanted him to kiss me. Since the day I met him the only thing I wanted to was to know what it felt like to be in his arms.
"What makes you think I wouldn't" I said nervously.
He wrapped his arms around me and dipped his head. His warm, soft lips met mine. His lips moved slowly and were firm against mine.The taste of his lips were like a sweet delicious candy. My body was floating away. His left hand was warm around my waist, his left played in my hair. His body was like heaven to me. His arms felt comfortable and warm.
He pulled away just for a second. Making me feel a little bit sad.
"Where are your parents?" He asked.
"Work." I said pulling him back into my embrace.
We then headed up to my room to be better relaxed. We made out for quite some time, not taking it too far. We wanted it to be special to us. At least that is what he told me. I wanted his body but he when I had tried to pull off his clothes he stopped me. saying he knew what I had went through with Josh and wanted our time to be special because he really cared for me.
"Honey, get up we have work to do on the camp....."Mom said coming into my room. "Oh my plumbob!"
I fell out of the bed! Crap this did not look good! We had fell asleep making out on my bed. We didn't do anything because Blake knew about what Josh had done to me and wanted to take things slowly.
Crap this did not look good!
"Ummm hello Mrs. Morgan." Blake said with an uneasy tone.
"Who the heck is this!" Mom demanded from me.
"Mom it is not what it looks like!" I yelled to her. "We just fell asleep."
"Ryan get up here!" She yelled downstairs to dad,
"No mom don't get dad!" I yelled at her
"Ryan!" She yelled again.
"Jade.. I think I should leave." Blake said trying to get out the door. But it was too late. Dad was already walking in.
"Why you stupid little..." Dad started the moment he saw Blake.
"Dad! leave him alone!" I yelled at him
"Your whoring around while you should be helping keep up your image to help me win this election!"
"It's not what it looks like!"
"Jade.. I am going to go." Blake said heading out the door
"Don't come back!" Dad yelled after him then he turned to me "Down stairs now!"
After they had gotten dressed they came down stairs where I was waiting on the couch.
"How could you do this!" Mom screamed. "What happened to Josh?"
"Mom! I don't want to be with Josh! I want to be with Blake!" I screamed.
"Your young you don't know what is good for you!" mom said again.
"I do know!"
"Oh really? How will he support you after he graduates? Is he planning on going to college? If he is can he even afford college?" Dad said trying to make a point.
"Does it matter?" I spat out.
"You are to young to be having sex!" Mom yelled again.
"We didn't have sex!" I yelled again. If only they knew about Josh.
"Then what was he doing in your bedroom!?" Dad yelled.
I was silent. We didn't have sex but that doesn't mean we didn't do other things.
"Your grounded and you are never to see him again!" Dad said furiously. Tears were streaming down my face.
"You need to clean up your act." Mom sneered walking out behind dad.
I got dressed. I knew I had to see Blake again. I didn't care. I would sneak out if I had to but I was not going to let them ruin the one good thing I had in my life.
I ran down the basement stairs.
"Blake!" I said running over to him he pulled me into his arms kissing me.
"What are you doing here? I thought for sure that you would be grounded."
I could hear Aj and Chris coming up behind me. "Drama Drama Drama." They tisked and smiled.
"Yeah we heard about it all." Chris said with a wink.
"Well what happened?" Blake asked me. We heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll get it" Aj said getting up.
"Well my parents already hate you. I'm grounded not supposed to see you again type stuff... yaddi yaddi yadda." I said trying to make light of the situation. "Don't worry, I don't care what they say."
"I am sorry to get you into this." Blake said looking hurt. "I am always screwing something up.
"Don't say that! Really it is okay." I said then I heard Aj walking back down the stairs.
"Ummm Blake." Chris' eyes widened.
"Not now Chris." He said.
"Blake!" He said again I heard more footsteps coming down the stairs.
"I am not down talking to.." Then he stopped talking when he looked up.
"Hi Blake." I heard a female voice say. Blake let go of me quickly looking startled. I turned and faced a pretty long haired blonde staring straight at me.
