Namaste. I've been tagged by wadingophelia to do this meme thingy. So I will.
Ground rules: the first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. Everything has to be evenly balanced with me, like chewing my food or where I place my feet when I'm walking. If the right side of my mouth chews more, I chew on the left side to even it out. When I walk, if the right foot steps on a crack, I'll hop around until the left foot does too. I also space my strides so each foot lands once in a square, etc.
2. I "burrito" myself up when I sleep. Kate says it's my "nest". I'll lift my feet to get the blankets under them, then roll from side to side until I'm all tucked in. I feel too exposed without doing this, and cold. But when I'd sleep with George, usually I prefered to have my feet stick out the end of the bed, because that's how he sleeps. Oh, and I need something to cuddle when I sleep, like my teddy bear or George.
3. Speaking of which, I always copy people. Mannerisms, and especially speech patterns. My mom loves it; she thinks I should be a linguist. But I know everyone copies those they are close to, but it doesn't take much for me to mimic someone constantly.
4. I can't read a hard-backed book with the jacket on. It just annoys the fuck out of me, and I have to take it off. And when I read a paper-backed book, I never bend the spine. I can't stand books with spines that look all ribbed.
5. I hate running errands, like going to the bank or store. I always want someone to go with me, and even then, it takes a lot of motivation for me to actually go do it. Even if I'm depositing money, or cashing a check, I can't stand it.
BONUS!!!6. I added this because I thought it was funny. I asked my dad what was odd about me, and his said, "Well, you're organized and meticulous when sorting through your Diablo inventory." I thought it was humorous.
