Random brief thoughts on tonight’s eppy.
Catherine is awesome! The scene at the beginning was fun and I’m never going to complain about two very attractive people making out. Of course, Danny is going to Steve’s house when he’s having a mini crisis with his daughter. Love it. Steve’s expressions were priceless.
Bonus points for the Catherine and Grace scene. While I wish we saw what Catherine did outside of her personal life, we didn’t get some Max back-story until the end of season two. They’ve done a great job with her thus far showing different sides of her.
Halloween always brings out the twisted stories. I’m glad the show doesn’t go the Criminal Minds route very often because that is how this eppy felt to me complete with insane mother and grandson. Thank you though for the tiny shout-out that Wicca is not the same as black magic.
While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the case, it felt more ‘together’ in the sense it didn’t go all over the map.
On a shallow note, I love Chin’s haircut. And Steve and Danny were freaking hot. That blue shirt? Um, yeah :)
The ending made me smile. I agree with Steve, I’m not a fan of the Notebook either. I don’t like romantic movies and I found the whole scene on the sofa incredibly sweet. The Steve and Danny snuggle was worth the price of admission alone!
Did I mention how much I adore the tighter-team/family love vibe this season?
Yay for more new episodes in a row! Knowing about some of the spoilers, I’m looking forward to all of them through the holidays! Can’t wait!
