Random thoughts under cut
I won't read many other ppl's reviews b/c I know fandom overeacts about things.
This was a set-up eppy. Introduce the new cast member, which yes, would take more screen time from the others. I found her fine and I won't jump on the 'hate the new girl' bandwagon.
Kono is going to get a nice arc, you can tell. I look forward to that.
This week's plot was alright, nothing special.
I like the new governor, he's fair, but by the book. Nothing wrong with that.
Steve Mr GQ looked hot.
I still say Jenna is a double agent. She works for the CIA to get Wo Fat. She works for 5-0 just to feed crumbs to Wo Fat, but she really is trying to helpthe team on normal cases. You can see her emotional conflict.
Horse arguments. Enough said.
I know ppl don't like the cast expanding, but this is an action heavy show. Our cast has to practice stunts as well as normal scenes. Alex had to get Vitamin B shots last season b/c he was so exhausted. Scott hurt his knee. They need more ppl to help spread the weight around.
I do hope to see more Chin soon. As I said, I'm not worried abort Kono with the new plot they're building
