Sofa recommendations/advice?
K, we are in the market to buy a sectional sofa for our living room. The couches we have now are not so comfy and they just look awful. They are Ashley brand which i guess is not very good quality. I would like something that maintains its shape. I want firm cushions dammit! The problem is that I have no idea which brands are good. We went to one place the other day and they had a couch that seemed nice. It came in all different arrangements and the price was around $2000. Which I thought was very reasonable. And I asked the store owner about the brand (England) and she said it was great and that the frame had a lifetime warranty and the cushions had a 10 year warranty. But then I got home and did some snooping online and read awful things about England furniture. They dont observe the warranty and call things "normal wear and tear" when it isn't, and the cushions sag, etc... If you cant believe the damn furniture store owner who can you believe?
I went one other place like 9 months ago and they had a brand called J. Raymond and it was about $4000 for a sectional couch. But I would like to get feedback on brands from owners, you know? If I have to spend $4000 on a couch that will hold up then i will. But I want to know what I am getting before I buy.
