Hey!!!!
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!
sorry that i havent kept you updated though the past couple days. On
Saturday we went to the Rhein river and looked at various castles. We
went on a gondala ride. It was so much fun. but also a very long day. I
went shopping in a little town an got a music box of a swan. It is so
pretty. I was so happy because we went to a place to eat that had
americian food. i had a hamburger and fries. Then we went to an ice
cream place. So good! After the food and the gondala ride we watched
the fireworks. Not as good as the fourth of july ones in henrietta but
still pretty. We ended up getting back at 2 in the morning.
On Sunday i slept in til 12:30. Then Felicia, Katie Vane, and her
exchange partner went to a medieval castel fair. It was so cool. i
already got two gifts for people. YAY! Then we drove to the Youth
Hostile (UHU). When we got situated we played cards and looked though
the yearbook with some of our german friends. Then we had dinner and we
played a few games. We also had a bon fire. Reminded me so much of my
grandma's house. OMG. Nikki, Kaylee, and i have had the best time at
this place with making up nicknames for this one guy nikki and i like.
PB, Skippy, Penut butter, and punce buddy. 'Get up off that thing'.
It was so much fun!!!! I am having such a great time!
Today... i woke up at 7:50. Breakfast was at 8 and we were suppost to be
woken up at 7:10 but i guess i didnt hear it and i was mad because i
wanted to shower. Oh well. Then we had breakfast. I had fruit loops and
bread with nutella(chocolate spread) on it. We then had to pack up and
go on a 15 mile walk back to Usinghin. It was horrible. My shoes were
not made for the walking. While in the woods i got a bad reaction to
the plants that i touched. I got bumps on my arms and legs from where
the plant had touched it. It was so bad. It felt like needles were
being stuck into my skin. And there wre litle white and red dots on my
arms. I also ended up getting bit by some sort of bug on my pinky. We
did the walk in 3 and a half hours. Wow. I just want to sleep now.
So i hope you guys have an awesome fourth of july today. i am going to
try to go out with some americian friends so we can celebrate it!
