Sorry Guys!
Yeah, so about being completely absent. I apologize for that. But I promise, there are good reasons. So I have been majorly MIA recently because of my family! They actually are super-awesome, and surprised me with a trip to Mexico for the holidays! It was a blast, but I had to be careful that I didn't get too much sun, and have it turn out all unnatural on the film. But anyways, it was a completely relaxing time. Nothing like waking up and hearing the ocean right outside your window. Especially the water in Mexico, it's so clear. I love just wiggling my toes in the sand, and those little fish that nibble on them. They tickle! So cute!
I hope everyone is having a happy and healthy new year so far. I miss everyone back home, and I really don't know when this filming is going to wrap up. But I have vowed, this time back in Africa, I am going to make the best of the situation. After all, it is not everyday that one gets to go to Africa. The cast and crew actually have some excursions planned too, I mean, we are here, why not see some of the sights? Northern Africa is a little too far away for our time constraints though, which is a bummer because I think Egypt is completely fascinating. I would love to go there, and take one of those hokey tours with a guy in khakis who points out the Valley of the Kings.
Hmmm... so I am racking my brain for what else is new. But unfortunately, I consider myself among the boring. It is not that I am starving for things to do, I am just so busy with work that there really hasn't been time to do anything else. That's kind of nice though, I think I was getting a bit too caught up in all the LA drama. I love you guys, but sometimes, your lives are WAY to exciting for me. Guess I am just a house cat at heart. I am a bit lonely down here though, even though the weather and everything is spectacular. A little on the hot side for me, after all, it is summer down here. It isn't so much the heat that I mind, it's the humidity. It makes my hair curly! Not the cute ringlet curls though, just that nasty, wavy look that makes it seem like I didn't shampoo or something.
Sorry, I am probably rambling. It is just nice to be back into all of this, I missed it while I was away. Of course, then there is the required re-adjustment time, and a bunch of lines to review. Which, actually, I should be doing right now. How was that for a segway into a goodbye huh? Pretty damn clever if you ask me.
