So, I came upon a journal entry on deviantART asking people to explain their nickname. Here's what I wrote about mine, "Kristal Lee":

Mine is quite boring... it's just a derivation of my full legal name. I do this because:

1. I don't want to "hide" behind a fake name.
2. I can't think of a super cool fake name. :P
3. I used to be called this when I was being teased by someone very important to me (my father),
and
3. I don't want to offer my full real name to just any stranger who happens upon it.

So therefore, this name is really "me", but it has a wee bit of stalker-defense built into it. ^^;

I forgot to add that I think it sounds a bit better than my actual legal name, too. :P
