(no subject)
so we've been sorta kinda thinking about getting another cat...as a companion for vesta and a chance at having a really sweet cat for us (vesta's....socially challenged, for those who don't know her).
yesterday i made the mistake of going to petsmart during their adoption time. they had a play pen type thing set up so all the cats that are normally in cages can be out running around. so i go in there and sit down and this amazing beauty of a cat comes running over to me and gets in my lap, purring away and being the sweetest thing in the world. *sigh* "fine." says i, and (after staying there quite a while) i quickly dash over to starbucks to tell steve about him (steve's working part time at starbucks). we talked about it for a while and ended up going back after his shift so he could see the kitty. we ended up filling out an application for him that evening.
we went back this morning just to hang out, but through a series of events he ended up coming home with us then ^_^
soooo...prepare to "Awwwww" :D
he's about 7 months and i don't think he's stopped purring since he got here. he and vesta'll be seperated for about a week and then we'll slowly start giving them some face to face time. more on that when it happens :)
