hmm
well i got my computer back..apparently it got back on wednesday but dhl chose not to tell me about it. so i got up bright and early this morning and picked it up.
they fixed the monitor (i should hope so) but the other stuff i told them about (the cd drive clunks when it tries to read burned cds and the fan sounds like a lawn mower) is exactly the same. i just got off the phone with warranty..she said there's a 90 day warranty on it now so i can send it back and they'll fix the fan for free. i just don't know if i want to part with it again so soon. i have work i know i'll only get done on this computer so i'm kinda torn. i told her about the cd drive and she said they could ship me a new one but i should check in with technical support first cuz it could be a software problem. my head says "fuck no i am NOT dealing with those people again if i can help it"...my mouth says "it CLUNKS when it tries to read cds. i don't think that's a software problem" she says "oh...um..ok." and today they're sending me a new cd drive!
